In a multi-prong approach, the Institute of Justice combined legislative efforts with litigation to give hundreds of Pennsylvania small business owners the chance to practice African hair braiding free of illogical and overly burdensome restrictions. Shaw Keller’s litigation team prepared a constitutional challenge for trial in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.
